There have been tales told, tall tales about a mythical beast that looms in the Cayman Islands. A place where sand turns into concrete and where people disappear for 7-10 days at a time. After exhaustive research it turns out that the mythical beast is actually the Black Pearl, oh, what is that, you don't know about the Black Pearl?

Consider arguably the world's best skatepark but located in a place where after you are done skating you can hit the beach with some friends, maybe catch a surf or check out the crazy snorkeling. This would be paradise, correct? And it is...

Enter The Black Pearl Skatepark (check it out here), where almost literally waves from the ocean meet the waves and the transitions of the skatepark. It is indeed a mythical place, and a special one, where Shaun will be heading next week to skate with some stoked kids at the park and enjoy a little time away from California.

For more information on how to be a part of this epic week check out Skate Cayman and you can also follow the camp on Twitter @ SkateCayman.
